My Interview on River City Live with Rance

I recently had the awesome opportunity to sit down with the BEST host ever, Rance, on River City Live | News4Jax to talk about my children’s book line—and I couldn’t be more excited to share the experience with you!

During the interview, I opened up about how my writing journey began, the books I’ve created that are now live on Amazon, and even some of the trials I faced along the way. Becoming an author has been a learning process filled with both challenges and joys, but through it all, I’ve stayed committed to my passion: inspiring children and families to read together and build connections that last a lifetime.

I also shared some key advice for new authors:

• Immerse yourself in the community. Let people know you’re a new author! The more you show up and share your passion, the more opportunities will open.

• Stay excited about your work. If you’re enthusiastic, others will be too.

• Keep your “why” in front of you. For me, this journey isn’t just about sales—it’s about sparking imagination, encouraging family bonding, and planting seeds of creativity in young readers.

This passion runs deeper than just publishing books. It’s about creating stories that bring families together, encouraging children to dream big, and showing adults the joy of connecting with their little ones through reading.
